Educational activity

The Institute has a Department of Postgraduate Studies that is operated under the regulations established by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation (order № 1061 of September 12, 2013). The Postgraduate Studies are carried out in Russian language and include both full-time and correspondence forms of research/training in the four areas and five specialties as follows:

1. Biological sciences:

- Virology,

- Microbiology;

2. Medical and preventive care:

- Epidemiology;

3. Fundamental medicine:

- Clinical Immunology, Allergology;

4. Clinical Medicine:

- Infectious diseases.

Duration of Postgraduate Studies is defined by the Federal State Standard:

- Medical and preventive care, Fundamental medicine, and Clinical medicine: 3 and 4 years for full-time and correspondence forms of research/training, respectively;

- Biological sciences - 4 and 5 years, for full-time and correspondence forms of research/training, respectively.
