From November 9 to 13, 2022, Vladimir Dedkov, Deputy Director of the Institute for Scientific Work, Svetlana Egorova, Deputy Director for Innovation and Anna Dolgova, Head of the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics of Pathogenic Microorganisms of the Department of Epidemiology visited the Pasteur Dakar Institute (Senegal ) to sum up the results of a three-year cooperation within the framework of the RSF grant No. 20-64-46014 for the study of arbovirus infections. Scientists have planned joint research both on the search for and study of arboviruses associated with mosquitoes and ticks, common in the Republic of Senegal and having a potential threat for introduction into the territory of the Russian Federation, and in a new direction on food safety.
