On August 25, 2021, an article "Origins of SARS-CoV-2: window is closing for key scientific studies" written by WHO experts was published in Nature. Authors of the March WHO report into how COVID-19 emerged warn that further delay makes crucial inquiry biologically difficult and even impossible. The experts call for action to fast-track the follow-up scientific work.
