The journal Tropical Medicine and Infectious Disease (MDPI publishing House) has published an article "Borrelia miyamotoi in St. Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast, Russia: A Multi-Level Assessment of Ticks, Rodents, and Human Exposure," co-authored by scientists from St. Petersburg Pasteur Institute. The article examines the circulation of Borrelia miyamotoi and the seroprevalence of this pathogen in the population of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Oblast.
