The journal "Infection and Immunity" has published an article, "A comparative analysis of HB markers and profiles between HIV-infected patients and healthy adults in Southern Vietnam," co-authored by scientists from the Institute (Yu. V. Ostankova, A.N. Shchemelev, E.N. Serikova, V.S. Davydenko and A.A. Totolyan). The aim of the study, conducted among 316 HIV-infected and 397 apparently healthy adults in Southern Vietnam, was to evaluate and compare serological and molecular markers and profiles of hepatitis B virus infection.
