Scientists of the Institute continued their work in Vietnam


On May 2-15, 2025, Dr. Dmitry Polev, Head, Metagenomic Research Laboratory, Dr. Tatyana Arbuzova, Dr. Margarita Popova and Dr. Alena Sharova, Junior Researchers, Molecular Genetic Monitoring Laboratory, conducted a number of joint projects at the Pasteur Institute (Nha Trang, Socialist Republic of Vietnam) within the framework of previously concluded agreements during the implementation of activities within the frames of extraterritorial monitoring of infectious threats under the Federal Project "Sanitary Shield". Among them: “Study of the genetic diversity of SARS-CoV-2 strains circulating in Vietnam”, “Study of the importance of zoonotic infections in the structure of natural focal morbidity in Vietnam” and “Diversity of dengue virus genotypes in humans and vectors (Aedes mosquitoes) in Central Vietnam” and “Diversity of dengue virus genotypes in humans and vectors (Aedes mosquitoes) in Central Vietnam”.
