Vladimir Dedkov, Deputy Director for Research and Anna Dolgova, Head of the Laboratory of molecular genetics of pathogenic microorganisms of St. Petersburg Pasteur Institute visited the Venezuelan Institute for Scientific Research (IVIC) and the National Institute of Hygiene "Rafael Rangel" of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
During the visits the experts signed MoUs and discussed the schedule for collecting biomaterial samples for research in 2024 and the results of testing reagent kits for detecting the Guanarito mammarenavirus.
